2014 Sailing World Championship

The 2014 Sailing World Championships was held in Santander, Spain. Over 1,400 sailors and more than 1,000 boats representing 80 nations attended. The events sailed and the equipment used in 2014 were those selected for the 2016 Olympic Sailing Competition.

2011 Sailing World Championship

The 2011 Sailing World Championships was held in Perth,  Australia, this was the third edition of the Sailing World Championships. It is the world championships for all disciplines used at the upcoming Olympics. As it used to allocate 75% of the qualification quota for the 2012 Summer Olympics this event has added significance.

2007 Sailing World Championship

The 2007 Sailing World Championships was the second edition of the Sailing World Championships and was held in Cascais, Portugal from 28 June to 13 July.
